A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond — the same carbon, the same crystal structure, the same hardness and sparkle. It is graded on the same 4Cs by the same laboratories (IGI, GIA), and no jeweler can tell the two apart by eye.

The only differences are where it was formed and the price: for the same size and grade, lab-grown typically costs 60–80% less.
